We’re back with more of The Erotic Mind podcast series. Over the last year and half, we’ve spent numerous hours with talented authors who have talked with us about their creations — erotic short story or novels.  Today we diverge a bit from our standard fair to broaden that perspective to include another type of sex writing — the memoir.

I am honored to welcome one of the shining lights of this genre, an enormously talented essayist, poet, teacher and comedic genus, Kevin Keck.  He is the author of three critically acclaimed memoirs, each brilliantly funny and smutty as all get out.

He’s been knocking audiences dead with reading from his work, both in personal appearances and on the radio.  And I am happy to report that he will treat us in the same vile manner.  Kevin will read two hilarious selections of the fruit of his Erotic Mind.  You’ll be laughing out loud as he reveals strange and embarrassing details about his sex life.

Today I have an intensely thought provoking interview with the fantastic artist, illustrator and author of several erotic comics, Steve MacIsaac.  His work is sultry, unabashedly sexual, (some even claim it’s porn); but whatever you call it you can’t deny powerful human element to his art and stories.  In his world the men are men, with all the complexities, passion and ambiguity that contemporary masculinity implies.  You will notice immediately that my guest, like his creations, is a power to be reckoned with.

 series.  And we have our mutual friend, Sean-Z, who has also appeared on this show, to thank for that.  As you know, for well over a year now I’ve been chatting with noted erotic artists, both visual and literary, from all over the freakin world in an effort to uncover something of the creative process involved in this specialized art form.

I have an outstanding show in store for you today.  After a spate of wonderful chats with visual artists over the past several weeks for this The Erotic Mind podcast series, today we return to home base; the world of words.

I have the pleasure of introducing you to an enormously talented author from down under, Geoffrey Knight.  He is a rising star in the firmament of the erotic novel, don’t cha know.  And besides his big fat uncut writing talent, he is also a laugh riot.  I love it when I can barely make it trough an interview because my guest and I are laughing so much.
